Chapter 88 "Mr. Sandro, you might've missed my chat with Mr. Buchanan earlier. I think Mr. Buchanan has what it takes to rock the NY fashion scene, so I invited him to give it a shot," Neil explained earnestly. Baldrick blinked, realizing he had missed that part of the conversation.

"Nancy, do you think I should try modeling?" Judson asked, gently swaying Nancy's hand, his eyes sparkling excitedly.

"If I beca model, I'll have plenty of cash. Then I could spoil you with all sorts of treats," he beamed. Faced with Judson's bubbling enthusiasm, Nancy could only shake her head. "It's your call if you want to model," she said, not keen on spending Judson's money.

"Letthink it over. Nancy, shall we head home?" Judson looked at her with puppy eyes.

Having signed her contract, Nancy was ready to leave. She turned to Baldrick, "We'll be heading off then. Take care on your way home." Baldrick's eyes showed a hint of reluctance, but he seemed unable to resist. Then he suddenly remembered something. "Hey, Nancy, don't forget to stop by my office tomorrow. Should I cby and pick you up?" Judson's brows furrowed, but he didn't wait to voice his concern.

"No need, I'll drive myself. See you then," Nancy replied.

Baldrick's gaze softened. "Alright, I'll be waiting." Judson thought, 'So, Baldrick wants salone twith Nancy? Well, he can wait.' With that thought, holding Nancy's hand, Judson led her out. "Nancy, I'll cook us dinner at home." Nancy barely had a chance to respond before Judson whisked her away.

After they were out of sight, Neil cautiously withdrew his gaze, amazed at Judson's protective streak. It seemed Judson was already making her presence known. He'd have to tread more carefully around Lena! But before Neil could finish his thought, Baldrick's mocking tone cut through the air.

"Neil, you're being respectful to Judson. Planning on inviting him to model, are you? I'm sure you've got your reasons," Baldrick pressed.

Ever the smooth talker, Neil managed a slick smile without panic, "Mr. Robertson, you've got it all wrong. I've always valued talent, but I must be off now." With that, he turned and left, leaving Baldrick smirking at sprivate joke. Regardless of whether Judson regained his memory, he couldn't remain amnesiac forever.

Nancy had just stepped out of the venue when a figure rushed over and knelt before her with a thud. Matthew's face was a mix of panic and tears, "Miss Lena, I realize my mistake. Please, could you put in a good word forwith Neil? Evergreen Global has decided to ban me. Not just in Ardenweald, but no design firm in any country will hirenow.' Truly frightened, Matthew clung to Nancy's leg. "Lena, it is all Susan's fault. She's the reason I voted you out.' When feeling the unwanted touch, Nancy's eyes filled with disgust. "Let go!" "I won't. Unless you help me, I'd rather die than release you..." Before he could finish, Matthew's world blurred.

Thud! Matthew hardly saw it coming before a fierce kick sent him flying like a broken kite, crashing to the ground.

Judson stood protectively before Nancy, his gaze icy as he looked down at Matthew. "Dare to lay a hand oh my lady before me, huh? You tired of living?" A chilling aura filled the air, freezing even the temperature around them.

Nancy bit her lip, watching Judson's angered face. She wasn't technically his woman.

The color drained from Matthew's face as he locked eyes with Judson's frosty stare, triggering a flood of memories.

In the Evergreen Global CEO's office, he'd seen the commanding young man seated at the head of the table just once, and that glance had filled him with an instinctive fear.

Facing Judson, Mathew's fear hit him again, his body tensing up as if he had thousands of tiny ant's crawling all over him. He stuttered, "Y-you, you're..."
