Daniel didn't notice the wheels turning in Patricia's head and let out a sigh, "That's what I'm saying. If it's legit, it would be awesome. But my fear is that someone might deliberately plant a fake one right under Brandon's nose. With the way Brandon's off his rocker these days, he'd swallow anything they feed him, hook, line, and sinker." As he spoke, Daniel couldn't help but glance at Manney's investigative report, and it seemed like things were heading in the direction he dreaded.
Patricia had just taken a good look at all the findings.
"Her nisn't even Sophia," she said, frowning, but she let out a sigh of relief. It eased the anxiousness that had been gnawing at her these past few days.
"No kidding," Daniel replied, still with a furrowed brow. After mulling it over, he decided to bring these findings to Brandon for a heart-to-heart.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHe was always one for action. Once the thought crossed his mind, he jumped up to get changed, ready to head over that very night.
"Hold up, I'm coming with you." Patricia hurried back to her room to change as well. She wanted to meet this current 'Sophia' face-to-face to see for herself.
You know, see if the vibe was the swhen you meet someone in person.
"What are you going over there for?" Daniel wasn't keen on Patricia tagging along. "You know how it'll be. You guys will end up at each other's throats again. You're well aware of how Brandon feels about you..." "You think I want to go? I'm just worried you'll get into it with him again. Can you even handle that with your health?" Patricia snapped back, swiftly changing her clothes. She didn't wait for Daniel's approval and hopped into the car.
Daniel heaved a sigh but didn't stop her. He was used to having Patricia by his side, looking after him wherever he went.
Sophia and Brandon were out with Theresa, strolling in the park nearby.
After lunch at the company cafeteria and a brief stay at the office, considering her current health and Theresa's need for a nap due to her young age, they had brought them back hto rest.
Brandon didn't head back to work either but dealt with soffice stuff in his hstudy. Later, the family went grocery shopping, cooked dinner, and only after eating did they take Theresa to the neighborhood park for a walk. The park nearby was a riverside one, with a sandbox that kids just adore.
As soon as Theresa hit the sandbox, she was off like a shot, playing with her set of sand toys.
At first, Sophia joined her for a bit of play, but seeing Theresa could happily entertain herself, and feeling a bit dizzy squatting, she gradually sat down on a bench by the Sandbox to watch her play. Brandon was still standing in the sandbox, on a phone call.

He was someone who was incredibly attentive and always mindful of her feelings.
Sophia watched his serene profile as he talked on the phone and couldn't help but think.
The dim light from a nearby streetlamp cast a soft halo that made a perfect highlight for his profile.
His well-defined features were bathed in the glow, creating a calm yet sharp silhouette against the backlight, quite a sight to behold.
For sreason, Sophia was suddenly reminded of the scene she had glimpsed earlier in the day at the cafeteria a young girl looking up at him, boldly and eagerly saying "Brandon, I like you." She was momentarily lost in thought. S Brandon turned his head at just the right moment to catch her bewildered expression, as if she were falling into smemory and desperately trying to dig it up.
"Send the proposal to my email, I've got to go," he said softly to the person on the other end of the phone before hanging up and walking over to Sophia.
"What's on your mind?" he asked, coming to a stop in front of her.
