Chapter 2305

Jovan felt that he wasn't as passionate and loving as Stefan.

"Stop beating around the bush. Why is he trying to hold himself back? You made a scumbag sound like he'd

suffered a lot!" Renee snarled.

She gnashed her teeth. If her foot was not chained, she would have long beaten Jovan up for being evasive and

mysterious.

"I think he was forced to give up his beloved woman because of his identity. He has suffered a lot." Jovan

frowned, his tone laced with sympathy.

"What about his identity? I've already known about that. Our grandfathers decided on our marriage. What are

we, Romeo and Juliet?"

Renee had wondered if their families were sworn enemies. It might be the reason why Stefan was in a dilemma.

However, her grandfather made the Hunts take care of her when her family was doomed. Her grandfather

always wanted the best for her. He held her hand and told her that only Stefan could make her happy, and only

the Hunt family could protect her.

It seemed unreasonable that Stefan was forced to break up with her because of his identity. Her grandfather,

who had loved her the most, wouldn't put her in such a dangerous condition.

"Are you really that curious?" Jovan frowned, shooting Renee a profound look. He kept tempting her.

"Isn't that obvious? If not, why would | talk to you for such a long time?" Renee flexed her fingers, feeling like

punching him.

"If you really want to know, | can tell you. But..." Jovan paused and sighed. "I don't think you can handle it."

"What else can't | handle?" Renee snorted, mocking herself. "Didn't you know what I've experienced all these

years? | wondered if | had nine lives. If | were an ordinary person, I'd be killed so many times. I'm stronger than

you think."

"No." Jovan smirked as if he were admiring a prey that was about to step into the trap. He was full of delight and

desire. "I don't think you can handle this. The bond between you two is too deep. Can you act in the nof

justice and kill them all?"

Renee narrowed her eyes and asked, "Who am | going to kill?" "The entire Hunt family!" Jovan seemed to be

joking.

"You talk like the Hunt and my families are sworn enemies."

"That's what | think." After a pause, Jovan added, "To be more accurate, there's a blood feud between

Alexander's family and yours. | think it's better if you're ignorant of it." "Is that so?"

Renee bit her lips contemplatively.

If the problem was with Alexander and Francine, then she had never considered that aspect. She had never

looked into their affairs.

There might be something she was ignorant about-a secret so shocking that Stefan separated from her.
