She climbed out of Yasmine's arms, then walked over to Timothy with the plate of fruits in her hands. "Grandpa,

Yasmine couldn't help but put her hand to her forehead and chuckle. "Look, wouldn't it be fun if they gave you a

asked, "Grandpa, why don't you like Aunt Suzanne? | think that she's a really nice person. Plus, she's going to

Emma's eyes started glistening when she mentioned that. She was the only child
in her generation in their family. There weren't any other children around to play with.
With a younger cousin, Emma would have someone to play with every day. She loved this idea.
Softening his gaze, Timothy looked back at Emma and explained gently, "We shouldn't judge a book by its
cover."
Emma didn't quite understand that. So, she simply responded in a low voice, "Oh, okay."
Then, she picked up a cherry and fed it to Timothy. "Grandpa, here's a fruit for
you."
All she knew was that everyone would be happy if they ate together.
Timothy couldn't bring himself to reject Emma's gesture. He opened his mouth
and allowed her to continue feeding him.
Nonetheless, he fell into deep thought.
