"What happened? What was Grandma doing here?" Theodore asked.

"I have no idea," Aurora said through sobs, "I heard something outside and cout to check it out. I ended up seeing Grandma falling down the stairs." "Yes," Angie said, "what should we do?" "Quick, send her to the hospital!" Rosalie said anxiously.

Theodore immediately hauled Rebecca into his arms and rushed out the door. "Help! Get the car ready!" The night was doomed to be a restless one.

Rebecca had fallen down the stairs and was sent to the hospital in the middle of the night for emergency resuscitation. Although she was saved, she remained unconscious. No one knew when she would wake up.

The sun had risen.

Rosalie and Theodore stood at the door of Rebecca's ward, their faces etched with exhaustion.

"How did this happen?" Rosalie said through tears. "Nothing can happen to Grandma." "Rose, Grandma will be fine," Theodore said as he held her shoulders. "She'll be fine. I'll find the best doctor to treat her." Aurora and Angie ran over to them, boxes of breakfasts in hand. Aurora approached them and said, "Theo, Rosalie, have sbreakfast. You two have been here the entire night. You need srest." "Aurora, what exactly happened? Why did Grandma fall down the stairs? Did you see anything?" Theodore asked.

"I have no idea," Aurora said. "I was sleeping in my room when I suddenly heard something crashing on the floor. I was frightened and got out of bed to check things out. As it turned out, Madam Jarvis had fallen down the stairs. I wanted to save her, but it was too late.' en.kikistories "Yes, that's what happened," Angie chimed in. "What Aurora said is true. We were both so frightened. How pitiful of Madam Jarvis! She might have been disoriented or sleepwalking." Rosalie looked at Aurora and Angie, who didn't look like they were lying. Yet somehow, a sense of unease grew in her chest.

"According to Zane, Grandma often wakes up in the middle of the night. It's all my fault," Theodore lamented remorsefully. "I should have had someone guarding toom through the night. It's all my fault!" en.kikistories Theodore was filled with regret.

swn "Theo, don't think that way. It's not your fault. This was an accident no one wanted to happen," Rosalie said. She didn't expect something like this to happen right after Rebecca managed to remember her.

The intimate way Rosalie and Theodore interacted with each other sent flames of jealousy burning in Aurora's heart.

She hurriedly added, "Theo, this has nothing to do with you. Both of you look so tired, you two should goĕ back and get srest. Angie and I can stand vigil at Madam Jarvis side. I'll call you if there's anything." en.kikistories UMS "No need. This has nothing to do with you two. You two should head back instead," Theodore said. "I'll have someonee here to take care of Grandma." Aurora was very ufortable hearing Theodore treat her like an outsider.

"At least have sbreakfast. We'll head back after breakfast. I already bought your share." Rosalie glanced at Theodore. "Theo, let's have breakfast first. We still need to take care of Grandma, so we should keep ourselves healthy." No one wanted this to happen. They had to remain calm to be able to solve the problems that were bound toe.
