Chapter 328 Draw Lots Over an hour later, the bus finally ground to a halt. The driver raised his voice and woke up the groggy students who were on the cusp of falling asleep. "We're here." Everyone filed out of the bus. All of them flexed their arms and stretched their legs as a fighting spirit flared in their eyes.

Cayden took Sierra's bag and helped her get off the bus. Then, he swept his eyes across his surroundings. "The other participants are here too. That guy over there is Lachlan Caldwell, also known as Ivory Maniac. That other guy is..." Sierra had been away from the music circle for years, so she didn't know anything about anyone here. Now that he was introducing them to her, she had to keep her ears peeled.

Felicia noticed how their heads got closer by the second, and she looked even more awful. When she could no longer bear it, she moved forward and broke them up. "Cayden, what are you guys talking about?" Sierra and Cayden frowned and took two steps back in unison, putting sdistance between them and Felicia. They said simultaneously, "Nothing." Felicia cursed Sierra internally, accusing Sierra of being shameless. After all, Sierra was a married lady, yet she was still seducing another man. "Sierra, I've seen how lovey-dovey you and Mr. Gray are on the internet. Isn't he going to watch you compete?" Cayden's expression shifted slightly, and his eyes darkened.

"Mind your own business." Sierra gave Felicia a cold glance before turning around and walking away.

Sure, Felicia was ticked off by Sierra's attitude, but she was content. She'd take any insult if it meant keeping her away from Cayden.

After the lecturer in the lead talked to the venue staff, he clapped his hands and declared, "The competition will commence at 10:00 am. I want all of you to followbackstage and get prepared." As everyone filed into a line and walked inside, Cayden found Sierra once more and ensured no harm cto her. Felicia gnashed her teeth as she followed them, boring into Sierra's back with her murderous gaze.

"Sierra." A deep voice echoed from behind her.

Sierra's eyes immediately widened as she turned around in surprise. "What brings you here?" Theo had a shirt on his arm that he hadn't had tto put on, and his hair was a little tousled, leaving his imposing presence for all to see.

The people around him wanted to take a gander at him, but they were scared at the stime. So, they could only peek at him as they muttered among themselves.

"Is that Mr. Gray? Lord, help me. He's so gorgeous!" "Them standing together makes for a wonderful sight. It's like the celebrities in a romantic television are standing before us." "I used to think that Sierra and Cayden were a perfect match, but I've changed my mind. I like it better now that she's together with Mr. Gray." "The longer Mr. Gray is with Sierra, the more affectionate he becomes. There's no better feeling than this!" Cayden watched as Sierra smiled tenderly and talked softly to Theo. The heartache in his heart was so intense that he had trouble breathing. He had to take several deep breaths before forcing himself to turn around.

Jealousy flashed in Felicia's eyes. She acted as if she envied Sierra, commenting, "What a lovely couple. It's obvious that they love each other deeply." He felt worse when he heard her words, so he headed inside without saying anything.

Felicia hurriedly took off after him. After she had taken several steps, she turned around and glanced at the couple. Sierra and Theo were holding hands and locking gazes.

Such a sight was enough to make her feel jealous.

Only God knew when she and Cayden would be as lovely a couple as those two were.

Everyone learned about the rules of the regional competition from the lecturer after they went backstage.

There were a total of 52 participants, and the performance sequencem would be decided by drawing lots. Only the top ten would be a part of the national selection competition.

Sierra swept her eyes across the backstage area. A lot of the excellent young pianists were clutching their chests and taking deep breaths. Theo could tell that she was nervous and thoughtfully handed her a thermos. "Relax. I believe in you. You'll be among the top ten."

Cocking her head, she flashed him a smile. She took two sips of the water, not daring to drink more than that. Otherwise, she might have to use the restroom when it was tfor her to go on stage. That was when the venue staff cover with a box. "Draw the lots."
