Chapter 266 Sleeping in Separate Rooms The thought of living with Theo sent a wave of unease through Sierra.
But under his steady, composed gaze, she had no choice but to suppress her discomfort and step inside.
"Just pack the essentials. We can buy anything else later," Theo instructed, his gaze sweeping across her room as he stood beside the bed.
Sierra reached for the scattered books on her desk, but before she could gather them, Theo took them from her hands.
"I'll handle this. You focus on the rest," he mentioned, sorting the books before placing them neatly into her pink backpack.
Seeing him with the pastel-colored bag left an amused smile tugging at Sierra's lips.

"Let's go." Outside, Adrian stood waiting beside the car. The moment he caught sight of Theo carrying a pink backpack, a smirk crept onto his face.
So, the rumors turned out to be true-even someone as aloof as Theo could change when in love.
In the past, Theo would've never let anything pink touch him. Yet, here he was, holding the bag without a second thought.
Amused, Adrian stepped forward and took the suitcase from him.
With their luggage loaded, Sierra absentmindedly climbed into the passenger seat, still trying to process everything.
Noticing her slightly dazed expression, Theo rubbed his thumb and index finger together, the faint curve of his lips betraying his amusement.
It wasn't until they arrived at Southridge Heights that Sierra finally snapped back to reality. She watched as Adrian swiftly unloaded their luggage before driving off.
"Is Adrian always this busy?" she asked, clearly confused.
Theo didn't argue. "Yes. He has to review all the company documents before they cto me." Sierra nodded thoughtfully. Remembering how exhausting it had been helping Benson with his work, she sighed. "That sounds overwhelming." As they entered the villa, Theo led Sierra straight to the second floor.
She followed without question, but the moment he stepped into the master bedroom, she instinctively stopped at the threshold.
"Uncle Theo-" she started, only for him to interrupt her.
"Callby my name." She hesitated before murmuring, "T-Theo, where am I staying?" Theo set her luggage down, removed his suit jacket, and casually unfastened the top button of his shirt.
"You'll be staying here." Sierra froze. After a moment of hesitation, she cautiously stepped inside.

"Sierra, we're married. I have no intention of living separately from you."
Sierra halted in her tracks, her cheeks slowly turning crimson. When hen gaze met his intense, unreadable eyes, she quickly looked away, feeling her palms grow damp. She had assumed that "living together" simply meant sharing a house-not the sroom. After all, their marriage was just a formality.
In her heart, she knew it was impossible for them to live like a typical couple.
The very thought of sharing a room made Sierra's heart race, as if it might jump right out of her chest.
The unfamiliar scent in the room, mixed with Theo's commanding presence, made her take a cautious step back, her gaze avoiding his. ".... don't think we're really suited to living together. Maybe I should just-" "We're legally married," Theo interrupted. "Why should we sleep in separate rooms?" His expression remained calm, his eyes steady and unwavering.
Sierra glanced at him, uncertain of how to respond. She couldn't exactly admit that the idea of sharing a room felt uncomfortable when there was no real affection between them. Yet, Theo's logic was irrefutable. They were legally married, bound by a contract that made them husband and wife.
