Chapter 258 We Are Married Edward slammed the table mercilessly when Benson brought up Sierra. Then, he shot Benson a sharp gaze.
"You don't have the right to be making this request. You're the one who mistreated a perfectly nice lady. "Sierra is decent and kind, and she never would have asked for a breakup if she hadn't suffered miserably and becutterly heartbroken." A hint of displeasure flashed in Edward's eyes when he thought of how obedient and nice Sierra was.
Benson didn't know how good he had it until it was gone. He should've appreciated such a wonderful lady. Meanwhile, his face paled as he frantically explained, "Grandpa, I know what I did wrong, and I talked to her, but she just wouldn't forgive me. Now, she doesn't even want to see me." At this point, he felt a little dejected before he looked at Edward eagerly. "Grandpa, Cee listens to everything you say. Will you ask her out for me?" Edward hesitated while Benson held his arm and shook it gently.
Benson noticed it and he kept going, "Helpout once. I will definitely explain it to Cee properly when I see her. I'm going to apologize to her and get her to forgive me. Don't you want her to be your granddaughter-in-law, Grandpa?" Edward believed that Sierra was a good fit for Benson. That was why he set them up previously. He would've been fine with it if Theo managed to marry her, but there hadn't been any updates from Theo lately.

Edward glanced at the pleading look on Benson's face and believed that Benson had learned his lesson. He mulled it over and decided to give him one more chance.
"I'll help you this once. You can forget about asking for my help again if you can't get her to forgive you." Benson was pleasantly surprised. He pushed the phone on the table to Edward with both hands and guaranteed it.
"With your help, I'll definitely be able to win her back this time." He wasn't flattering Edward. Instead, he said what he said because he knew just how important Edward meant to Sierra.
Benson wore an anticipating expression when he thought about how she would get back with him soon. His hands, which were lying by his sides, slowly balled into fists.
He silently swore that he would never let Theo use Sierra like a pawn.
Back at the entrance of the courthouse, Sierra was holding her marriage certificate and staring at the picture with a stupefied expression.
She had gotten married, just like that.
Then, her phone rang, snapping her out of her daze. She frantically rummaged through her bag and finally found it.
"Hello, Grandpa." Just as Sierra answered it, Theo took the marriage certificate from her. He checked it for errors and put it into his bag when he found none. Then, he led her into the car.

Lydia thought about the procedures of the couple's marriage certificate, and she turned to George. "Mrs. Gray must've been tricked or something. Mr. Gray is in a hurry to carry out the procedure because he was worried that she might regret her decision!"
George didn't argue with her this time. After all, this was the first tel he had seen sshed m through the marriage procedure. Judging by the dazed look on Sierra's face, she still hadn't fully grasped the fact that she was married. Back in the car, Sierra was on the phone with Edward. He told her that he missed her and also asked her if she could swing by Gray Manor to hang out with him.
For a moment there, she hesitated a little. She turned around and looked at Theo. They still hadn't told the Gray family about their marriage.
This time, they didn't sit apart.
Instead, he sat next to her. After he heard what what Edward said, he spoke up calmly, "Just as well. We will give him the good news." Sierra nodded and said gently to the phone, "Grandpa. I'll swing by right now. As it turns out, I need to tell you about something as well." Edward responded merrily, "Alright, then. I'll be waiting for you at the manor."
Sierra gripped her phone and spaced out for a while after the call ended. By the the tshe cback to her senses, she realized that her marriage certificate was gone. "Where's the certificate?"
